Epson printer driver. Automatic driver updates are fast, efficient and elimate all the guesswork.
The original BX100 came with 16nm planar (2D) MLC flash and a Silicon Motion (SMI) controller. That was Crucial’s first SSD with an SMI controller, and that trend continues with the BX500.
So I'm looking to replace the Samsung EVO 840 in my main desktop (all the issues with Samsung SSDs are making me nervous) and am looking at the referenced drives from Crucial as possible replacements. Specifically I am looking at the BX100 1TB vs. the MX500 960 GB.On paper, the BX100 is faster and has a more advanced controller. OTOH, the MX500 is $100 Canadian less, and while the BX100 is faster, it's not that much faster. So in terms of value, the MX500 appears to be the better choice.
So the question is, can anyone think of any good reasons why I might end up saying in 6 months '#$%#$ why didn't I just spend the extra $100?!?'
